Jacksonville Rental Finders, Inc. has a reason to L♥VE Valentine’s Day! Today is our 7 year anniversary of serving the Jacksonville Florida Apartment Communities and our Jacksonville home rental, condo rental and town home owners.

Our History

Jacksonville Rental Finders was launched Feb 14th, 2005 as it’s original name First Coast Apartments. It began with an idea given to one of the founders by his wife while taking an evening walk with her and his newborn baby down Touchton Road. After approaching his close friend with the idea, it was born.  They were two close friends with a desire to offer a free and more complete rental shopping experience than what was being offered in the Jacksonville, Florida marketplace. They were striving for a service that would combine a personal touch with added technology.  Starting with a $10,000 small business loan that went much quicker than expected, no office space and the two working out of their homes, one of the founders had to move in with family members.  This enabled him to provide for his family and continue to build the company. The other living off of the small amount of savings she had. With their hard work, determination and help/guidance of their mentor Steve in Tampa, they were able to open a small office condo in the Southpoint area of Jacksonville within their first 12 months while also bringing on an additional agent (which happened to be the founders wife).

Growing

The service originally focused on helping renters in the Jacksonville area sort through all the confusing pricing, specials and constant changing availability of the Jacksonville Apartment communities. The real estate boom of 2006 and 2007 led to many apartment communities being converted into condos with those renters being pushed out of existing rental units.  Also, area communities experienced historic occupancy levels and a flood of investors bought converted condos as rental investment properties.  The company saw that their services were needed to help renters who had been pushed out of converting communities, while facing historic rent increases.  The lack of rental availability and a need for owners who needed tenants for their new investments opened up an opportunity for First Coast Rental Finders to bring both parties together. This led us to offer a tenant placement service for the private investor and owner. Jacksonville Rental Finders was able to offer a tenant placement service to Jacksonville Condo Rental and Jacksonville Home Rental owner/investors. A new name was needed reflecting just that, our wider array of service so First Coast Rental Finders, Inc. was the obvious choice.

Servicing the need of the Jacksonville Area Apartment Communities and area investors, we were able to grow rapidly and add an incredible array of talented agents, all of whom are the reason we are successful. Moving into our main office at 4195 Southside Blvd in the heart of Jacksonville, First Coast Rental Finders is now centrally located and close to all of Jacksonville’s Major Employers, downtown and the beaches. This office serves as a blueprint for our future offices in other cities that we plan on launching.

Welcome Jacksonville Rental Finders! Jacksonville is locally known as “The First Coast”. Many of our relocating clients have never heard or are unfamiliar with what “The First Coast” represents. This has caused some confusion in the past about our Free service to Rental Shoppers. After almost 7 years, we have matured into Jacksonville Rental Finders, Inc. Offering the Jacksonville area renters, managers, owners, major employers, schools and universities, a truly turn key relocation service is now available.  We enjoy matching tenants with the best of Jacksonville’s Apartment Communities, Condos, Homes and Town Homes.
